Tamale Party: Hands-On with Katherine Emmenegger, July 6

In this hands-on class, students will learn everything it takes to make tamales, from the preparation of the masa and fillings to the techniques of rolling and steaming them.  Wonderful for entertaining or as a snack, these tasty filled treats are great any time and can also be made ahead and frozen. 

Oaxaca Mole Pork
Chicken and Tomatillo
Sweet Potato, Black Bean, and Roasted Poblano Chile


This hands-on class will be taught by Katherine Emmenegger, Director of Culinary Education at The Curious Fork.  Please bring an apron and wear close-toed shoes.
